Morphogenesis

If you’re feeling like a loser, confused, lost, insecure, lonely, hopeless, unlucky, a bum then know that you’re on the right track. Because before you can self-actualize, you’ll have to have your ego cracked open and all your self-imposed blocks removed because you were created and born whole. The moment we hit the ground we’re gradually stripped of our unique essence and holistic goodness.Any attempts at finding completion outside yourself means your authenticity is your blindspot.

Anything one-sided is hiding its opposite inside it. That’s duality, the name of the game in this dunya. Only Allaah can safeguard you from the imbalance and ensure you balance through transcendence. Jannah is the ultimate transcendence which is why the path there is complex and long.

As long as you’re enduring what you don’t like, know that it’s because Allaah is giving you a golden opportunity to develop through the tension of the polarities.

And whoever is removed away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise, he indeed is successful. The life of this world is only the enjoyment of deception (a deceiving thing).

(Aali Imran:185)

Hermetically sealed safe space

May Allaah grant you the ability to see yourself the way He intended for you to see yourself : with love.

Because gratitude to Allaah remains incomplete when it’s from a self-erasing and self-hating and self-harming individual.

Allaah created you, your energy, the immense beauty that is blocked from your vision because of a demonic self-loathing. Anything demonic is whatever is fragmented and isolated from the cosmic light and abundance Allaah emanates and created in the world. And that’s what iblees intends : to fragment you so you could feel as miserable as he does. Although he has so much control and influence and near immortality, he’s a black hole of misery.

Energy can’t be procured through possession. It’s a divine gift. One that he’ll never have, so his entire strategy is to lure you away from the cohesiveness and wholeness you were created in and for. You don’t build wholeness. You remove whatever blocks your innate wholeness. Retrace your steps. Go back to how you were as a child. Simplify. Be still. Receive. Ask and be vulnerable with Allaah. Love.

Unwrap yourself

The gift you carry for others is not an attempt to save the world but to fully belong to it. It’s not possible to save the world by trying to save it. You need to find what is genuinely yours to offer the world before you can make it a better place.

Discovering your unique gift to bring to your community is your greatest opportunity and challenge. The offering of that gift — your true self — is the most you can do to love and serve the world. And it is all the world needs.

I could move a mountain

Expectation cloaks the unsettling nature of the unknown but in so doing, the exhilarating feeling of transmutation and evolution is excluded. In the end, the fear of the unknown is replaced by disappointment and attachment that descends into entropy.

Basically, the greater objective beyond immediate consequences is whether something evolves into the unknown (potential) or regresses into inertia.

Expectations is micromanaging Allaah. It’s to fixate on the goal because you don’t trust the process. It’s to insist on the how because your ego fears being made obsolete if you were to surrender your mental constructions to your heart.

Ultimately, do you want to attain that one goal that you conjured based on experience or do you want what puts your heart at ease? Because the two are often mutually exclusive in that your heart thrives in the absence of mental constructs controlling the how.

Having expectations creates a bifurcation of focus that inevitably pits one’s attachments against the divine will, where the latter is seen as an obstacle to one’s ultimate happiness. Letting desires arise organically is to receive the flow of manifestation.

The sound of resonance

Have you heard of Optimum Trajectory before? Your life is like a river, Bob. If you’re aiming for a goal that isn’t your destiny, you will always be swimming against the current.

Young Ghandi wants to be a stock-car racer? Not gonna happen. Little Anne Frank wants to be a High School teacher. Tough titty Anne. That’s not your destiny. But you will go on to move the hearts and minds of millions.

Find out what your destiny is and the river will carry you.Now sometimes events in life give an individual clues as to where their destiny lies…

What’s wrong with me?

Ego asks what. It wants to pinpoint the cause of inconvenience. The thorn in its side.

Love asks why. It wants to understand what disrupted the harmony. It wants to reconcile the opposites. It wants to return the thorn to its rose.

I’ve never asked myself why. It’s always been a resentful what, if even that. And it’d always be because things reached a dead end where the suffering was unbearable. I’d always seek insight and answers begrudgingly as a u-turn. But best believe that I wanted nothing to do with my vehicle. I was only focused on the dashboard and the road ahead. I didn’t want anything to hold me back from reaching my destination. The vehicle would break down, I’d get a towing truck, hitch a couple of rides that turned out nearly fatal. I tried to abandon the vehicle in protest. Didn’t have anyone or anything else to blame it on. I was imagining all the beautiful and marvelous things that I was missing out on by being stuck on the road, and it made me hate myself and the vehicle even more. Which would cause more trouble.

It started as a faint mumble. A question you ask under your breath, hoping no one would hear you. Why do you want to go to that destination so bad? When it causes you this much agony?

My inner voice grew stronger and firmer each time my vehicle coughed up soot and died. The inquiries took on more defined form, the question turned into soliloquies.

I hadn’t noticed the hassle it took to try to get there because I assumed it was due to my inability to navigate the road or my crappy vehicle. I assumed such because it seemed like every other car was zooming past me with no problem.

Why do you think your vehicle is a car?

Huh? It’s obviously…a…car? Wait, hold on. It has to be. What else could it be? I thought all vehicles were cars? Or all cars were vehicles? What? This make no sense at all. How come I’m on a highway if this vehicle belongs elsewhere?

Why do you think that where you are is where you are meant to be?

I guess because that’s the only thing I’ve been taught. If I were to take the alternative seriously, that’d be too daunting! At least now I have a direction and rules to follow. I wouldn’t know where to begin if I veered off this map!

Maybe the noncompliance of your vehicle and the constant breakdowns have been nonverbal cues from your soul to alert you to the fact that this road isn’t where you belong?

But why couldn’t there be a straightforward delineation of what vehicle belongs where? Or even where it doesn’t belong?!

Because the path where you belong is held by the awareness of why you don’t belong elsewhere. And that’s only something you can come to on your own. That’s the whole point. You thought you were on the road to a certain destination, but your soul brought you here to break the assumptions you’ve inherited.

Oh, so that‘s why
