Every act of creativity destroys a bit of the ego. It trumps it by doing so effortlessly what the ego plots and plans over so painstakingly. It’s a blatant demonstration of the fact that true brilliance is never the work of conscious effort. It’s birthed spontaneously, an extrasensory phenomenon that some get the privilege to observe and bring down to earth. You can never compete with the originator of universal genius that created your genius.
