A pinch, a blow

The worst is over before you can find words to describe it. It first strikes the nonverbal, primordial part of you that houses your feelings. And thank goodness for that, because your thoughts often only catch on the tail of things – and often the nonessential parts- which are then incessantly and mercilessly replayed and mulled over in a hopeless fashion. It’s like the jab of a vaccine injection. The antidote is circulating deep within you, waiting for your cries and sniffles to tire you out.
