I may not be the daughter they wanted but I’m the daughter they needed

I want to give my parents what they never gave me ; unconditional love, a spirit of abundance, authenticity, forgiveness.

I alchemized the pain I inherited from them because I saw that they, too, had inherited that pain. Only difference is, the buck stops with me. Not letting anyone else bear the brunt of what I refuse to feel.
