Dharaaro iyo dheel dheel

Whenever someone’s love for you extends beyond the connection you have with yourself, it becomes codependent. It’s like playing volleyball and your opponent is standing a fair bit away from the net to provide some momentum to their throw, and instead of anticipating the trajectory of the ball, you’re standing right in front of the net. The ball obviously goes way beyond you and the game becomes choppy and lumbering.

Love is being in the flow; it requires a coordinated effort of keeping up with the nonverbal energies, of transcending ego (the very obstacle to love), and most importantly remaining in alignment with yourself so that when your partner fumbles on their path, you can be the reliable lighthouse to guide them back to their core.
