This recitation is a poem by an outstanding 7th century Islamic scholar by name of Ibn al-qayyim. While the word ” Islamic” might set off some prejudice bells in your head, I invite you to hear what he has to say about the common denominator of Christianity and Islaam: Jesus. This poem specifically dissects one differing factor between Christianity and Islam which is the purported crucifixion and subsequent killing of Jesus ( peace be upon him), which Islam vehemently opposes happened. Very interesting and objective points, best viewed with an open mind.
The poem is of course recited by someone else in a rhythm that is perhaps unique to Arabic poetry, almost like chanting. This is not to be confused with the Qur’aan – the holy scripture of Islaam. It has been conveniently subtitled in English.
